How Do I Use the Visual Page Builder to Create Landing Pages?

The visual page builder lets you drag, drop, and customize 50+ content blocks to build any landing page without touching code.

The visual page builder is where you go to create landing pages, sales pages, or any standalone page that isn't a standard blog post. Open it from Admin → Pages → New Page, pick a template or start blank, and you're in.

What kinds of blocks can I add?

You've got over 50 block types to work with — hero sections, feature grids, pricing tables, testimonial carousels, countdown timers, newsletter signup forms, image galleries, video embeds, rich text columns, and more. Every block ships with sensible defaults so you're never staring at a blank, unstyled thing. Click any block after dropping it and a settings panel slides in from the right where you can swap colors, adjust spacing, change fonts, or toggle visibility on mobile.

How does the template picker work?

When you click New Page you'll see ten starter templates: Landing Page, Product Launch, Coming Soon, Link-in-Bio, Event, Newsletter Signup, Portfolio, About, Contact, and Blank. Each template is a pre-wired set of blocks that you customize — not a locked design. Swap out every piece of content, reorder sections, delete what you don't need. Templates are a starting point, not a cage.

Templates only set initial block layout. Your active theme controls all colors, typography, and border radii — so a template always looks consistent with the rest of your site.

How do I reorder and nest blocks?

Grab the six-dot handle on the left edge of any block and drag it up or down. You can also nest blocks inside section containers — drop a three-column grid block first, then drag text or image blocks inside each column. The builder snaps blocks into valid positions so you can't accidentally break the layout structure.

Can I save my own block combinations as templates?

Yes. Highlight one or more blocks, click the Save as Template button in the top toolbar, give it a name, and it shows up in your personal templates section the next time you open the template picker. This is handy when you've built a hero section you love and want to reuse it across multiple pages without rebuilding from scratch every time.

How do I publish a page I've built?

Hit the blue Publish button in the top-right corner. The page goes live at yoursubdomain.velocms.org/pages/your-page-slug. You can change the slug in Page Settings before publishing if you want a custom URL. After publishing, the builder switches to an Edit Mode indicator — every subsequent save regenerates the static page on Cloudflare's edge in under two seconds.
